At Positive Terminal, we stand behind the quality of the VIOFO range.
All VIOFO A229 and A329 dash cams supplied and installed by us are backed by a 24-month warranty, giving you confidence and long-term protection.
What’s Covered
Your 24-month warranty includes:
Manufacturing defects in the dash cam unit
Hardware faults (camera, main unit, GPS module)
Supplied accessories (power cables, hardwire kits purchased with install)
Memory cards not included
Installation workmanship (when installed by Positive Terminal)
If your device experiences a fault under normal use, we will:
Repair the product, or
Replace it with an equivalent model (if repair is not possible)

VIOFO A229 Series
A229 Plus
A229 Pro
VIOFO A329 Series
A329 (front & rear systems)
Products must be:
Purchased through Positive Terminal, or
Supplied and installed by Positive Terminal or its partners
Warranty Period
24 months from date of purchase or installation
Proof of purchase or invoice is required
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper installation
Normal wear and tear (e.g. adhesive pads, SD cards)
Issues caused by third-party accessories not supplied by us
Incorrect use (e.g. unsupported memory cards, power issues)
Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you experience an issue:
Submit a claim on our CLAIM FORM with all the relevant informations including :
Your name
Invoice or proof of purchase
Description of the issue
We will:
Come back to you as soon as possible, generally under 3 days.
Troubleshoot the problem
Arrange inspection, repair, or replacement if required
Turnaround times will depend on the nature of the issue and parts availability

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to:
A replacement or refund for a major failure
