The Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser is a discreet vehicle security system designed to protect your car against modern theft methods including key cloning, relay attacks and unauthorised vehicle starting.

Depending on your vehicle’s make, model, year and electronic architecture, your installation will use either the proven Ghost-II or the latest-generation Ghost-III system.

Ghost integrates directly with compatible vehicle electronics and requires a unique PIN sequence using selected factory buttons before the vehicle can be driven.

With no additional key fobs, visible keypads or obvious aftermarket indicators, the Ghost Immobiliser remains discreet and extremely difficult for thieves to identify.

Ghost-II or Ghost-III ?

The Ghost-II remains available and is still the appropriate system for many compatible vehicles.

However, Autowatch has introduced the new-generation Ghost-III, which supports newer vehicle communication technologies and will progressively replace Ghost-II on identified vehicle applications.

The system installed will therefore depend on your vehicle make, model, year and electronic architecture.

Where Ghost-II is the appropriate application, Ghost-II will be supplied and installed.

Where your vehicle has been identified as requiring or being better suited to the newer Ghost-III platform, Positive Terminal will supply Ghost-III instead.

How It Works

After starting the vehicle, the driver enters their personalised PIN sequence using selected factory controls such as steering-wheel, dashboard or centre-console buttons.

Once the correct sequence is recognised, the vehicle is authorised for normal operation.

Without the correct PIN, the Ghost-II prevents unauthorised use of the vehicle — even if someone has obtained or cloned the original vehicle key.
