Our standard installation service includes up to 3.5 hours of professional labour, covering the installation and basic configuration of a compatible Vhedia head unit.

What's Included

• Up to 3.5 hours of professional installation labour

• Removal of the existing factory or aftermarket stereo

• Secure mounting and installation of the Vhedia head unit

• Connection of supplied vehicle-specific wiring harnesses and adaptors

• Integration of compatible factory steering wheel controls

• Connection of supported factory reverse cameras, where applicable

• Installation of supplied GPS antennas, microphones and USB accessories as required

• Testing of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity

• Testing of Bluetooth, radio, speakers and audio output

• Basic system configuration and customer handover

All integrations are subject to compatibility with the vehicle and supplied equipment.

Installation Labour & Additional Charges

This service includes a maximum of 3.5 hours of standard installation labour.

Additional work may be required for vehicles with complex factory audio systems, previous aftermarket modifications, existing electrical faults or incomplete installation kits.

Additional charges may apply for:

• Labour exceeding the included 3.5 hours

• Custom wiring or dashboard modifications

• Fault diagnosis or repair of existing electrical systems

• Additional cameras, amplifiers or other accessories

• Missing or incompatible wiring adaptors

• Travel outside our standard mobile service area

Any additional work will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.

Unused installation time is not refundable or transferable.

Customer-Supplied Vhedia Head Units

We accept compatible customer-supplied Vhedia head units when the appropriate vehicle-specific installation kit is available.

Positive Terminal is responsible for the quality and correctness of our installation workmanship.

Hardware defects, software issues, firmware faults and manufacturer warranty claims should be directed to the product seller or manufacturer. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law or our obligations relating to installation workmanship.

Additional diagnostic labour may apply where a fault is confirmed to be unrelated to our installation.

Vehicle Compatibility

Installation is available for selected Toyota, Ford, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Volkswagen and other compatible vehicles.

Compatibility depends on:

• Vehicle make, model and production year

• Dashboard configuration

• Factory audio and amplifier systems

• Factory cameras and steering wheel controls

• CANBUS integration requirements

• Supplied fascia, wiring harnesses and adaptors

Some factory features may not be retained where compatible integration accessories are unavailable.
